A maximum of 2 guests permitted. Should you wish to invite a small number of day time visitors please check first with Rocky Hills Retreat's Manager, Alison.
Bedding configuration is one luxurious king size bed.
We are happy to accommodate people over the age of 12.
Outdoor Smoking Only.
Please note we have a 2 kilometre gravelly driveway.
Please also note if the Tas Fire Service deem that the fire rating for the day is "catastrophic" we believe it best if we assist you to find alternative accommodation in Swansea and your deposit will be refunded.
Rocky Hills Retreat is in a bush land setting and we do not wish to take any risks with our guest's safety.
Rocky Hills Retreat has a stand-alone Hybrid power system utilising a solar array with battery bank and backup generator. The solar system is designed to cope with most circumstances, however if the demand for power is increased or we have reduced sunlight hours the generator is designed to automatically start and produce 9KVA sufficient power for the retreat.
Our water is supplied via rainwater tanks.
Tasmania is not blessed with wonderful mobile phone coverage - only Telstra mobiles work on the East Coast. In case you are with one of the other phone companies we have provided a Telstra mobile for our guests use.
50% deposit is required to confirm your booking
The balance and any minibar charges are payable on departure - we accept cash and all major credit cards.
We will call you a few days prior to your arrival to arrange a meeting time at Rocky Hills Retreat.
Any cancellations given outside 72 hours from time of check in will attract a $100.00 administrative fee. As we would prefer you to stay with us, should you wish to postpone instead of cancel your stay, we will permit you to transfer your deposit booking to another time within 12 months and we will provide you a Gift Voucher for the balance after deduction of the administrative fee.
Any cancellations or postponements with less than 72 hours notice will result in the deposit being forfeited. Non arrivals attract a full tariff being charged.
